Scents of Pluto introduces a perfume and room fragrance line with a cosmic twist: what if these scents were used by astronauts exploring the endless expanse of space? This distinctive brand concept transforms ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences, blending imagination with sensory delight. Each fragrance is crafted to add a touch of intrigue and surprise to the everyday, evoking sensations; a mysterious walk through an uncharted forest, the elegant aroma of a luxurious powder room, or the bittersweet fragrance of flowers on a wedding day. Pluto Scents invites you to venture beyond the familiar and discover the extraordinary in every breath. For this project, I worked closely with Pluto's amazing team to develop its brand identity and packaging design.
Scents of Pluto's branding strikes a balance between playfulness and elegance, designed to adapt seamlessly—even within the smallest spaces, like the compact form of a perfume bottle. A bold typeface ensures clarity and reinforces the brand’s confident yet refined image.
The centerpiece of the branding, the inverted 'OF' logomark, pays tribute to the silhouette of an astronaut, a nod to the brand’s space-inspired concept. This versatile logomark invites creative integration with other design elements, adding a dynamic and playful touch to the brand's visual identity.
The packaging features a subtle monochromatic palette, reflecting the base notes of each scent and the celestial inspiration behind their namesakes. This cohesive design approach encapsulates the brand’s ethos: an elegant journey into the extraordinary, grounded in thoughtful, functional aesthetics.
